Luke earned his first State contract for the 2018/19 season, after taking 31 wickets for the Redbacks in the previous year’s Futures League competition. He also contributed 2 half centuries with the bat, and made the SACA Premier cricket team of the year. Luke has been a dominant all round cricketer for East Torrens in SACA Premier cricket for many years.
After making his One Day and Sheffield Shield debut for SA in season 2018/19, Luke was contracted again for 2019/20 and 2020/21. Luke was also called into the Melbourne Renegades squad as a replacement player during BBL09.
