Amelie was drafted by Port Adelaide for their inaugural season in 2022 as a 17 year old from North Adelaide.
The 178cm lockdown tall defender had just come off being All-Australian for SA at the National U18 Champs, before winning a SANFLW premiership with North Adelaide.
In her first AFLW season Amelie fit in seamlessly, playing every game, and consistently performing at a high level, then followed in in her second season by coming in the Top Ten of the Power’s Club Champion award.
